Who, When and Why?
Social Science Dimensions (SSD) was established in early 2012 as a vehicle for advancing a range of applied social science research activities. Present and past clients of the SSD team include the Papua New Guinea National AIDS Council, the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), Social Impact (SI), Counterpart International, the British Standards Institute (BSI), the Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC), and St John of God Health Care. Past clients of SSD Principal Consultant Dr Rod Nixon include the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), the World Food Program (WFP) via contractor, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) via contractor, and private sector clients. |
SSD Director Rod Nixon is an approved Contractor (Type B-1) under category 9: Governance, sub-category 9.6 (Law & Justice) of the AusAID Aid Advisory Services Standing Offer 2013-2016 (extended until 2019).
