Land Research and Policy

The Social Science Dimensions team has extensive experience with land research and policy projects, including work related to Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) aspects. These include studies of post-conflict land issues in Timor-Leste, the leasing of customary land in Vanuatu, and the interface between private sector actors and customary groups in Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
